
Branimir Boban was born on December 5, 1997, in Zagreb. In 2016, he graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, specializing in Ceramic Design. The following year, he enrolled in the Sculpture department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where in 2019, he joined the class of small-scale sculpture and medallic art under Professor Damir Mataušić. He earned his Master’s degree in 2024 under the mentorship of Professor Igor Ruf.
Boban works across sculpture, medallic art, and multimedia, exploring the relationship between form, material, and space. His work is characterized by the fusion of traditional sculptural techniques with experimentation in new media—ranging from video production and 3D animation to collaborative projects with fellow artists and designers.
Group Exhibitions: Ambienta, Zagreb Design Week, International Medallic Project 2020 – Future for Nature (Tokyo), Art Zagreb 2023, Zagreb Festival of Lights 2023 (co-author of the Neon Circles pavilion at Zrinjevac), and Flora Art 2025.

Collaborations: The Genesis exhibition by Nenad Sovilj (Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, 2023); a featured sculpture in the home of Sandra Paović (2020, HRT); projects for Tire Calligraphy (Crypto-Kids, 199144); 3D modeling and animation for the documentary series Croatian Cathedrals (HRT); and the Breathe Through the Nose project (artistic vases for the Haus nursery).
His portfolio ranges from intimate small-scale sculptures and medals to public installations and multimedia works, emphasizing interdisciplinarity, experimentation, and the exploration of new artistic frontiers.
