Artist statement:

The work depicts a man in a moment of trying to catch yellow leaves as they fall from the trees, scattered by the wind. This scene, the dawn of a young love, suggests energy, insecurity, and the desire to hold onto that which is only just beginning. By situating the scene at Mirogoj, the space gains a symbolism of transience, yet also a hope for eternity, creating a subtle contrast between the fleeting moment and endurance. The synesthetic title, borrowed from music, further connects the visual motif, deepening my intention to portray a real, intimate moment that I believe many can relate to. For we have all loved, or at least desired to love forever.
