Artist statement:
The work was created spontaneously in 2020, when a colleague—also my best friend—asked me what I would be working on that day at the Academy. I took a piece of wire and bent it into the shape of a sphere, placed within the frame of a cube, like a drawing in space. At that moment, I decided to name it “Chaos in a Cube.” The work stood for some time at the Academy and later in my studio, until I decided to complete it by positioning it on one corner, on a dark iron pedestal.
