Sanja Jureško

Sanja Jureško was born in Rijeka in 1990.

She earnd her Master´s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Department of Painting, in the class of Professor Zlatko Kauzlarić Atač, in June 2015.

She has held twelve solo exhibitions and participated in over twenty group exhibitions. She has taken part in several artist-in-residence programs, including Cité des Arts in Paris (2018).

She is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HDLU), HDLU Rijeka, and the Croatian Freelance Artists Association (HZSU).

In 2017, the Croatian Association of Visual Artists in Split published the e-book “Silence 2.0” featuring her work. The book was edited by art historian and curator Anđelko Mihanović, with additional texts by Lea Knežević, Mia Krneta, Sonja Švec Španjol, Lora Rajčić, and Maja Hrgović. She lives and works in Supetar and Zagreb.
