The sculpture Štrikanje consists of a square pedestal from which a playful formation of nails expands. The nails simultaneously penetrate the mass of the base and support the sculpture, negating the traditional role of the pedestal and creating an impression of suspension. The work powerfully contrasts material weight with conceptual play, questioning stability, support, and hierarchy in sculpture.
