Sea storm 8

Artist statement:

The work "Storm 8" from the series "Sea Storms" is made of nails and sheet iron, arranged into a composition of modern architectural and structural forms that evoke the illusion of a turbulent sea. At the top floats a small paper boat, characteristic of this series, in a golden color that symbolizes a shining refuge amid stormy waters.

The piece immerses the viewer in the tension and power of the sea, creating the sensation of being inside a paper boat, confronted with its unpredictable force. The steel and sheet metal structures emphasize the contrast between the rigidity of the materials and the fragility of the boat, highlighting vulnerability and courage in the face of unruly elements.
