Artist statement:

This abstract work titled Breakfast plays with the idea of the beginning of the day and the first moment of waking consciousness. The composition is minimalist yet powerful – dominated by gentle tones and expansive, open areas that leave room for interpretation.

At the center of attention is a striking red dot, acting as a visual impulse and a symbol of the first taste of the day. The red color breaks the calm atmosphere, injecting energy and awakening the senses, just as the morning moment often surprises with its intensity.

The painting invites the viewer to find their own breakfast within it – whether it is a bite, light, thought, or feeling that emerges from silence. The red dot becomes a focal point of perception, but also the beginning of a story that unfolds across the canvas.
